Designer Ulrike Jurklies has a very recognizable, colorful and uncomplicated style. She has been making installations for the DDW visitors, since 2014. She combines old traditions with modern production techniques. Ulrike works with different partners and focusses on sustainability and the re-use of innovative materials and processes.

The visitors start in the 30-meter-long hall where our high-quality Biovate wallpaper of last year’s project still shines. Looking at re-using materials, Ulrike Jurklies decided to not destroy this, but use it in this years’ presentation again. This long hall takes you to the second room…

The space is filled with a colorful exhibit. Many meters of digitally printed eco-fabrics — showing the principles of the production process past and present in an abstract manner. Throughout the installation concept economical and environment-friendly material use, has the highest attention.

We are proud to support this designer in her passion for sustainability!
